Salary range: $80,000 to $100,000 per annum
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide clients with agronomic technical expertise and recommendations accordingly.
- Provide clients with comprehensive agronomic advice to achieve KPI’s.
- Perform agronomic services for clients with farm management including planning, monitoring, testing & inspecting.
- Guide agronomists and merchandise staff through technical advice and recommendations.
- Take an active role with the induction and development of graduate agronomists.
- Play an active role in forecasting market trends based on interaction with clients and their products.
- Achieve and maintain Agsafe & Fertcare accreditation.
- Be the technical expert for an identified industry speciality and recognised as an area or national authority.
- Mentors staff in the subject area of the identified industry speciality.
- Develop communications and coordinate educational activities for the identified industry speciality.
- Play an active role in the marketing and promoting the services offered.
- Assist other staff where required when servicing customers in the retail space.
- Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures are maintained.
- Contribute to the team’s business plan.
- Work constructively with other team members to support a collaborative culture.
- Ensure solutions are cost and resource effective for the business.
- Manage personal expenses to maximise the budget.
- Additional duties to deliver team requirements maybe required.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their current and future needs.
- Maintain Client Relationship Management system.
Essentials:
- Degree in Agriculture.
- Experience providing clients with comprehensive agronomic technical expertise
- Extensive industry experience.
- Extensive experience as an agronomist.
- Comprehensive experience in an identified industry speciality (preferred).
